Take the time to meet your potential photographers and get to know them. If you love their photos but spending time with them is torture, find someone else.

Right by Your Side!

You should like your wedding photographer! Your photographer is unique among your wedding vendors because they will be with you for most of your wedding day. From getting ready, to taking your vows, to dancing on the dance floor, to finally driving off into the sunset (or sunrise, depending on how hard you party), your photographer will be there. So, it is vital that you like them!

Where you go, we go

We will be with you for most of, if not the entire day. Where you go, we go. Why? Because that’s where the action is, that’s where the emotion is, which means that’s where the photos are. Because of this, we will be spending a bunch of time together; for most of it, we will be trying to blend into the background and be as unobtrusive as possible, but it is impossible to go completely unnoticed. So, therefore, it’s essential that you like us and feel that you can work with us.

Being comfortable leads to better photos

If you like your photographer and have an excellent rapport, you will be more relaxed and comfortable, which will lead to better, more authentic photos. Additionally, if you have a good rapport with your photographer, your photographer will be able to predict what is coming and what moments and photos will mean the most to you.

You will have more fun!

If you like your photographer and can relax and have fun with them, you will have a more enjoyable day. This comes with the bonus of more natural smiles, brighter eyes, and unforgettable memories.

So, take the time to meet more than one photographer. Go for coffee, or meet at your venue for a walking tour. Get to know them, see if you like hanging out with them and if you can hold a conversation with them. Most importantly, see if they leave you feeling good about yourself!
